Hair Transplantation with the FUE Method

The problem of balding affects a growing proportion of the population. It consists of many factors that cause the structure of the hair becomes weaker, and their number systematically decreases. Already people over the age of 20 can see changes in the appearance of their hair. They are either destroyed or simply less. Hair transplantation turns out to be the only effective solution that gives satisfactory results to the patient. Hair transplantation involves surgical removal of hair from one part of the body and implanting them where there are visible defects. It should be noted that the treatment is more often subjected to men, which results from the harmful effects of the male hormone - testosterone, which contributes to excessive and premature baldness. Women who decide to undergo surgery constitute only 2% of all patients. To achieve more spectacular results, specialists have developed a new method of hair transplantation - FUE. This technology has received great interest from patients.

What is FUE?

FUE is one of the methods of hair hooking, it involves taking the units, that is individual hair units, which contain 1 - 4 hairs. Special, small puncture needles are used for the procedure. The transplanted hair is taken from the sides and back of the head. This is due to the presence of dominant strains in this area, which will never fall out.

During one treatment, up to 6000 transplants are performed in a clinic with which we work closely, depending on the patient's hair density at the place of donation.

The main difference between the FUE method and the traditional STRIP hair transplant method is the collection of individual follicle units without the use of a scalpel, in contrast to the STRIP method, during which a large skin strip is removed leaving a visible scar, the FUE method is minimally invasive and does not leave scars. The big advantage of this treatment is the ability to quickly return to normal life activities.

The treatment is painless and takes place under local anesthesia of the areas of hair removal and implantation.

What is PRP?

Autologous platelet concentrate in a small volume of plasma, or PRP (platelet-rich plasma). For hair transplantation with the FUE method, the clinic we work with uses PRP to accelerate the healing of tissues, which in this case takes place during the course of the procedure.

This also contributes to long-term maintenance of the hair follicles, which translates into their increased adaptation at the site of the transplant.

The use of PRP in hair transplantation makes them resistant to the influence of the external environment and allows hair follicles to take oxygen and deliver growth hormone at the transplant site.

The use of PRP in surgery is conditioned by the participation of platelets in wound healing. They release seven basic growth factors responsible for the healing process: three isomers, PDGF (αα, ββ, αβ), TGF-β1, TGF-β2, VEGF and EGF. PRP also contains proteins responsible for cellular adhesion.

What is LHT?

Hair Transplantation with Laser Hair Therapy, is the application of low-level laser therapy also known as cold laser with hair transplantation. The main objective of applying low level laser therapy after hair transplantation is to speed up the healing time, to help reduce side effects such as redness, swelling as well as pain within the operated area and to promote the fastest hair growth possible. As this laser application which is performed after a hair transplant procedure allows to penetrate without heat, it has no side effects such as a burning sensation.

In individuals who have undergone hair transplantation, laser therapy helps reduce the recovery time and also provides good pain control, which is linked to better wound healing.

For treating hair loss conditions, we use a different low level laser device. When it is applied on the scalp twice a week for 20 minutes and twice a week, primarily the progression of hair loss stops and with long-term use it is found to have a promoting effect on hair growth. After a certain improvement level is reached, it is possible to sustain the improvements obtained by reducing to one session carried out in a week.

Thickening Beards and Mustaches

Many men are distinguished by hair not only on the scalp but also on the face. Mustache and beard are considered attributes of masculinity, which very often in case of lack of them can cause some complexes. Over the years, facial hair can change, it becomes thinner and less visible.

In order to restore the self-confidence, beard and mustache transplantations are carried out using the FUE method. The effect is to be natural, but with visible and satisfactory for the patient improvement in appearance.

Beard and mustache transplantation using the FUE method, similarly to the hair transplantation, involves removing the hair from the area at the back of the head, ie the place between the ears. It is conditioned to a large extent by the patient's safety.

This technique works because of the sensitive skin of the face, and in the case of such surgery we are not dealing with pain and itching. The effectiveness and safety of the method guarantees quick and visible effects in improving the appearance.

Compacting Eyebrows

A sensitive place in the area of the eyes, or eyebrow, is a place where women especially attach great importance. Beautiful, dense, but properly shaped eyebrows are a big advantage of the female group of society. Their shape and angle should harmonize with the shape of the face. A great precision is therefore required for the eyebrow compacting procedure.

When transplanting eyebrows using the FUE method, local anesthesia is used, which guarantees comfort during the procedure. The thinnest puncture needles with the help of a micro motor are used to perform the transplant. Only single hair follicles are selected.

Thin hairs are taken from the lowest lot on the back of the neck. They are characterized by a structure and appearance most similar to those that are present on the eyebrow. Eyebrow healing may take up to 12 months. After this time has elapsed, their respective shape is visible.

The Importance of a Natural Hairline

The harmony between the patient's natural hairline and his face is crucial for hair transplantation and determines the success of the treatment. It is important that the physician performing the transplant should maintain proper proportions and not interfere significantly with the natural hairline.

It must be known that it remains unchanged throughout the entire life of every human being, therefore, when setting it up with a doctor, it should be ensured that the patient will be guided without any interference. The hairline must be proportional to the shape of the face and run in a symmetrical manner.

Naturalness will be ensured by the high hairline that runs at the back of the head in the temporal part. Too low carried out will adversely affect the appearance of the patient at a later age, as it is characteristic of young people. The oval hairline is also avoided. The treatment must first of all give natural results and positively influence the patient's appearance. We therefore strive to achieve the most optimal results.
